Security Officer

JOB DESCRIPTION

Responsibilities:

  • Observe and report activities and incidents at assigned client sites, ensuring the security and safety of client property and personnel.

  • Conduct periodic patrols to identify irregularities and inspect protection devices and fire control equipment.

  • Maintain order and enforce site regulations regarding personnel, visitors, and premises.

  • Manage access control to client sites or facilities through the admittance process.

  • Patrol assigned sites on foot or in a vehicle, checking for unsafe conditions, hazards, unlocked doors, security violations, blocked entrances and exits, mechanical issues, and unauthorized persons.

  • Protect evidence or secure the scene in the event of accidents, emergencies, or investigations.

  • Respond to a variety of incidents including fires, medical emergencies, bomb threats, flooding, water discharge, elevator malfunctions, hazardous materials, inclement weather, and other emergencies.

  • Prepare logs and reports as required for documentation of activities and incidents.
